Seeking Hope

Endless black, seeing without vision,
and roads of infinite depth,
walking to hope, and living in dreams,
mind existing outside shell,
with connection to reality severed,
cannot feel cold, cannot see road,
source of mysterious energy,
propelling forward to hope.
When will dreams shatter?
When will hope be experience?
